Interweaving theoretical and practical exercises, the workshops provide an introduction into Rudolf Laban’s system for writing down and analysing movement, and introduce participants to the use of scores (a sequential order of activities) by Anna Halprin and other post-modern American choreographers as tools for collective or individual interpretation and creativity.
